Fortaleza city in the North of Brazil is getting warm with the power and fire of God that came down during the First Conference for Spiritual Leaders last week. Leaders from all over Brazil were soaking in God's loving presence - awesome Hallelujah!
John was invited to Fortaleza by Pastor Gildo and the Apostle Abe Huber who have planted 422 Churches in the Amazon Region near Santarem City. They have more than 22,000 disciples of Jesus Christ there. Now they launched the First Conference of "Winning multitudes for Christ Jesus and taking good care of them all" in Fortaleza city.

This church in Fortaleza city were planted by the Apostle Abe Huber and his team just two years ago. Now they are having 3 services on Sundays and a fenomenal health growth amongst theirs 1.800 new disciples.

John were invited to preach in Pitangui "the gold city" last month (Church founded by Apostle Melvin Huber, 40 years ago). During the service that also broadcast live on local radio, more than a hundred people gave their lives to Jesus Christ. It was awesome to see God's love touching the people's lives - praise the Lord for His grace and faithfulness to me!

Shine Jesus shine - in our town!

The deaf heard, the blind saw, the tormenteds were set free and many left their wheel chairs and walked and run in front of a multitude stimated in 30,000. All the event was broadcasted live to all territory of Brazil. This is REVIVAL - HALLELUJAH!
Under a bright day yesterday in a Central Station Square of the city of Belo Horizonte, thousands of people were touched by God's power, love and grace.
I have never seen before so many people healed at once with all kind of terminal diseases and deliverance of evil spirits - it was awesome to be part of it and see the body of Jesus in action destroying Satan's works! Hallelujah!

The Lord Jesus (as John prayed after preaching here) healed a 5 years old boy named Talis from kidney problem. Talis was serious ill. He had tubes hanged outside his stomach that after been healed were removed by the doctors who confirm this miracle and ...

Yesterday several adults were healed too. Some with back bones problems, others with many diseases and many also received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It was a mini revival that begun to happen in that small town. Hallelujah!

One hundred and fourteen missionares came from south, north, west and east to do evangelism with us in one of the most dangerous shanty town near our church at the same day pastor Rick Warren was here.

Pastor Rick Warren came and it was awesome! More than 3,000 pastors and bussinessmen attended the meetings with pastor Rick. Remarkable day for all of us! Praise God!

WE MUST GO IN JESUS' NAME and preach the Gospel to everyone, everywhere and we will see the harvest coming to our hands. Hallelujah!
Many decisions for Christ were made amongst tears and smiles during our outreach. Now we are preparing for the follow up with them in a retreat of three days of lots of pray, worship, teaching and fun. Please pray for this new converts which came from this poor community were many were involve in crimes such as traffic of heavy drugs, robbery, etc.
Jesus is invading heal through our lives here in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Hallelujah!

Last month (June/08) : We have achieved in reaching out hundreds of people and more than 50 lifes were led to Jesus! Plus one broken marriage totally restorated, two heavy drugs addicted were completely set free by Jesus. Also during our services while John was preaching and praying for people in Brazil, an evident manifestation of God's power through many signs & wonders and healings has increased by God's grace. All that happened while John & associates was preaching the gospel in fews different tows near Belo Horizonte as a full time volunteer guest.

Good News: On 24 February the Apostle Márcio Valadão welcomes John De Carvalho to join in his ministry team in Brazil.

We are committed to reach out 10% of the city of Belo Horizonte's population with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the year 2010. This mean an extra quarter of a million people that would join in the near 40,000 members of Lagoinha Baptist Church that are spread in 1,200 cells groups already. A rainbow is a symbol of God's eternal covenant with mankind(Genesis 9:13-) that another flood would not happen, right? But what about the cloud of fire on top of this rainbow, what it means? How the Americans would interpret it? Is God saying something to them?

Please pray for the Americans whom God have made a covenant with their ancestors that walked in doing righteouness and justice in the past.

We are going to the High Street of Guildford on the 11th, 13th and 15th of December. On Saturday the 15th we are going to have a band of Christian musicians playing worship songs on the High Street next to the Tunsgate, please contact us if you want to be involve in any of this events:

worship God with music, dance and arts

pray for people on the High Street and engage on evangelism

wrap presents and give away mince pies, etc.

And on the 11th & 13th of December (next week) from 12pm to 2pm we are going to have a trial day for what we called "Hot & Holy". For this event we still need some help with the following:

Another voluntary or chef with valid hygiene certificate to help us on the 11th and 13th of December 2007.
Ongoing prayers for the team and for those that will be benefit from these events in many ways.

Like this human army on the High Street there is a mighty army of Angels sent by God. God's army is here to help and to protect us to proclaim and to advance the Kingdom of God on the streets of our town.
God is also raising a mighty army of man and woman that are fearless of our defeated enemy of our soul and you are invited to join in.

May the Lord of these Heavenly army open your eyes for you to see what He wants you to do. If God has planted you at the market place please ask Him to use you to advance His Kingdom each day. And expect God intervene with good surprises. Just believe and you will see it!

We are in a war against "principales and dark powers" and we must attack because "we have righteousness (of Jesus) as our weapon, both to attack and to defend ourselves." And as we do so the darkness has to flee immediately because with our Lord we have the authority and we are the majority-Amen!

Great prosperity has come to BRASIL! This has been caused by miracle after miracle this year!!!
Breaking News: "Brazil was celebrating one of the world's biggest oil discoveries of recent years yesterday (NOVEMBER 9, 2007), a huge deposit off the coastline of Rio de Janeiro, which officials claim will take it into the major league of the world's biggest energy powers. The find at the Tupi field, about 155 miles off Rio, could yield a total of 8bn barrels of light crude and represent 40% of the oil ever found in Brazil. "
"Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7

In fulfilment of all God’s words given to me to the President Lula in June 16th 2006, which says: “I AM going to bring great prosperity over the nation of Brazil that has never happened before starting on January 1st 2007**. And I AM (says the Lord) giving you (President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva) a second chance [to be re-elected] to fulfil your vows to Me and to do justice and righteousness for the poor in Brazil” says the Lord!

At the time nobody knew this date also would be the date that the prophesised re-election of President Lula’s new mandate will start.

The date of January 1st 2007, become a turning point mark in the history and economy of the nation of Brazil as God said to me. (please see full story in Blog archive posted in March)

The series of events that boomed the economy and caused the Brazilian stock market BOVESPA to rise since that very day has proved that God’s words given to me to give to the President in our divine encounter in Olinda-Recife was true and has become fulfilled 100%!!! Praise God!

The mighty hand of God is upon the nation of Brazil! And I believe it is because God’s divine plan is to send out the Brazilians to bless the nations with the Gospel and bring justice for the poor. Please welcome these servants of God in your home, church and country and partner with them because these are forerunners of the world wide revival that is coming soon.

Church on the Street?

For the last year I have noticed that Muslims, Hare Krishna devotees, Hindus and Morris Dancers ALL worship and demonstrate their beliefs on Guildford High Street.

IT IS TIME FOR THE CHURCH IN GUILDFORD TO MOVE OUT OF THEIR BUILDINGS AND REACH OUT TO THE LOST ON THE STREETS AND MARKET PLACE. Therefore I would like to invite all Christians to come and Worship God with me in Tunsgate and celebrate the good news that Jesus Christ is alive today! ALL WELCOME!

God's Love Does Transform Lives...

I have the privilege of seeing that happen either for many poor children that came out from living at risk on the streets of Brazil or those that God's have used my life to lead them to Christ Jesus in the last 26 years of serving Him faithfully and obedient to His word. I have chosen since 1981 to dedicate my life totally to love God and love my neighbour with all my heart, spirit,mind and soul and live to serve the poor as a full time volunteer in the frontline mission for more than 22 years now. I have also learned that if God can use an ordinary person like me to save hundreds and hundreds of desperate children and adults He can use anyone that dares to believe in Him and obey His commands of love. In October 2000 when I handed over the Presidency of Happy Child Mission to Pastor Paulo which I was overseeing since its begining in 1993 in Brazil only that year our records showed that our team of 80 staff had successfully helped to transform and rescue 1.203 lives of children and some of their relatives with the practical love of Jesus Christ to whom the majority had committed to and began to follow.

As showed on this news letter below [which was published at that time] we can see the amazing work of the Holy Spirit through our faithfull and dedicated staff and volunteers all the results of living by faith and obedience to God we only can praise Him for it.

God's anointing is being poured out on Brazil...and it's coming to Britain

On the 8th of March, 2007 President Bush is received by President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva in Brazil…if you look in this picture the paths ahead between both Presidents forms a double cross connected to each other (north and south aligned?). Perhaps the two trees behind the banners symbolise God's authority given to them for this time?

Good News: On 9th March, 2007 President Bush Heralds Biofuels Pact with Brazilian Leader the President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva who is anointed by God for this time! As God have spoken to the President through me, now He have started the prosperity era and growth on the economy of Brazil and that is going to increase because God is not a man to lie. This Pact is one example that confirms the prophetic words given to the President of Brazil and is going to bless many other poor nations and the global environment too! Praise the Lord because He is faithfull!

God also has great plans for the nation of Brazil and United Kingdom together from this time 2007!

Three unforgettable consecutive days of my life in Recife- Olinda-Brazil with an outpour of the Holy Spirit and then His whisper voice in my ears saying: "This is just the beginning."

First Day: Friday 16 of June, 2006 Divine encounter of the President of Brazil Luis Inacio Lula da Silva and me in Olinda-Recife exactly as the Holy Spirit had showed me in a vision that I had in Guildford...

Second Day: Saturday 17 of June, 2006 Worshipping Jesus with thousands of believers on the streets of Recife where 10,000 Jews spend their summer holiday every year.

As I did believed and walked in obedience to the Holy Spirit's revelation given to me in Guildford, then I have been privileged to speak God's word and prophesise to the nation's new President of Brazil and this is the whole story of our divine encounter:

In Guildford, on the night of 12th of May 2006 I was seeking God in my bedroom for His Will regarding my future and for the future of the nation of Brazil. God's tangible presence like holy fire came around me and remained for about six hours. I could not sleep. Suddenly, at around 3 am, I saw in a kind of dream or vision myself in the presence of the President of Brazil, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva*. He confidentially confessed his sins and immediately after the Holy Spirit prompted me to put my right hand on his shoulder. A powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit came upon us. Then God gave me the following words for the President: “'I AM going to bring great prosperity over the nation of Brazil that has never happened before starting on January 1st 2007. And I AM (says the Lord) giving you (President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva) a second chance [to be re-elected] to fulfil your vows to Me and to do justice and righteousness for the poor in Brazil' says the Lord.”

*At that time President Lula was not a candidate for re-election and was at his lowest reputation rate in the poles. Sixty-nine politicians, most from Lula's party, had been found guilty of corruption including several ministers and senators.

Having no money at all and only a return ticket to Brazil to a place called Recife-Olinda-Brazil* for the 4th of June (Pentecost day in the UK); I received an invitation to minister on 25th of May 2006 in a home group at Kumar & Laura Selvakumaran's house in Guildford-UK (they are also close friends of Heidi Baker from Iris Ministries in Mozambique). As that evening went along we were in a remarkable way guided by the Holy Spirit and His presence, with love and joy felt by all; we also felt an impartation of faith and the anointing that was upon me was passed onto them too. After ministering to everyone, I felt a prompting of the Holy Spirit to share about God's revelation to me regarding meeting and prophesising to the President of Brazil. It was a beautiful moment when I bowed down in the Presence of the Lord surrendering all to God with my hands up and all the brothers and sisters around me praying and laying their hands with oil on me - it was awesome! Without me knowing, they also raised an offering that was enough for me to buy food while in Recife. But what they didn't know or and could not figure out was how quickly a series of events was about to take place in my life making what appeared just a dream or vision into something real.

(*Note: Recife-Olinda is located in the north east of Brazil and where the first Jewish synagogue in south America was established by Jews from Holland and Crypto Jews

The Jews that managed to survive that persecution went to the Dutch Antilles where twenty-three of these emigrants arrived in New Amsterdam which then became the City of New York and where they founded the first Jewish community.)

After my arrival in Recife, on the 8th June 2006 I wrote an e-mail letter to the President of Brazil asking if I would have a chance to see him. The answer which came on the 19th June 2006 in a official letter (below) was a polite NO! The President's office in Brasilia is 1,200 miles away from where I was given hospitality by the missionary couple and friends Rev. Ian & Simea Meldrum who also work with the poor and destitute families in Olinda-Recife. Nevertheless, as I was on my knees at 8:30 am on the 16th June 2006 saying to God that I had done everything in my power about His revelation to me. And I faithfully surrendered it all to God again. As I did that and raised my hands up, my mobile rang! Normally before starting to pray I turn it off and I say to myself that even the President of Brazil will not interrupt me talking to God now. Well, I felt the Lord saying to me to answer that call, which was not from the President but from a Christian friend saying the following: “John, I felt a prompt to call you and to ask you do you know who has arrived in the middle of the night, out of the blue in Recife-Olinda? I said, no! He then said: the President of Brazil!” My heart jumped and I took a deep breath and asked him where the President was going to be. He said:“Near where you are staying, just 10 minutes drive” I quickly said goodbye to him and I made a phone call to another Christian friend asking if he would like to meet with the President. His reply was YES! I picked him up and we drove to the place where the President was due to arrive in 20 minutes. Hundreds of people were arriving on a improved site in the middle of a motorway, just for the event. I found the head of security and told him that I wanted to speak to the President. He spoke in code on his radio and sent us to another area where someone would be able to lead me to the President when he would arrive before he takes the platform. When we arrived in that area the Holy Spirit spoke to me and asked, “Are you arranging this meeting or am I?” I immediately repented and asked what He wanted me to do. The Holy Spirit told me to go to the middle of the crowd and that He would bring the President of Brazil to me.

The whole time that the President was on the platform he seemed to be looking away from the cameras and other politicians towards me.

Suddenly the President stood up and came down from the platform. The President bodyguards cleared a way through the crowd in front of him. He walked straight to me, took my right hand and held it to his chest. We looked straight at one another. I explained that God has sent me from England to prophesy over him. I put my hand on his shoulder as I had seen in the vision. A powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit came upon us. I said the exact words that God had given me for him which are: “’I AM going to bring a great prosperity over the nation of Brazil that has never happened before starting on January 1st 2007. And I AM (says the Lord) giving you (President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva) a second chance [to be re-elected] to fulfil your vows to Me and to do justice and righteousness for the poor in Brazil’ says the Lord.”. The President said “Amen, Amen!” He was moved and gave me a bear hug and said “Muito Obrigado!” He smiled and laughed. The president then left and as I watched him leaving and started to thank God for making the dream a reality, then the Holy Spirit cleary said to me: “this is just the beginning”.

On 24th of June 2006 after our divine encounter the President Lula became a candidate for the Presidential election, but in the October more corruption in his party was exposed. It seemed impossible that he would win the election. But he began to publicly repeat the words that God had given to me for him saying, “I will govern Brazil for all the Brazilians but in my mind and in my actions I will give preference to the poor and make Brazil a nation more just.”

On 29th of October 2006 Luis Inacio Lula da Silva was re-elected with more than 60% of the votes.

The President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva on his first speech on 1st January 2007 when his second presidential mandate has begun he publicly declared and confirmed his serious commitment to God and to the people of Brazil to do everything in his power for righteousness and justice for the poor and to transform Brazil into a more just nation. Hallelujah!

Above is the official reply letter from Brazil's President Cabinet Director apologising that the President of Brazil had a busy agenda and couldn't meet with me in his palace in Brasilia. So, God Almighty brought the President where I was 3 days before this letter were sent to me, simple as that, halleluijah!
